Number 1

The safest play b/10 11/6 is ugly and still has a risk of 11/36. The medium attacking play is b/20 8x3(3), which might be the best play when there wasn’t a loose blot on point 24. That leaves the double hit, I choose for the making of the 3-point because the 1- and 8-point don’t look good together.

Answer: b/20 8x3(2) 6x1

Number 2

I first thought about hitting both blots on 2 and 1, but the problem is that we don’t have enough material to follow through. That’s why I choose for the medium attack. The strip/stacked white position promises more blots in the future, so it’s wise not to get too blitzy.

Answer: 6/4 3x2(2)

Number 3

Blue is ahead. In race, position, threat. Only 12/36 cover the first move, that means white gets to hit almost 8/36 in the first run (there will also be some indirect shots). So white gets enough to take.
