This position was probably too obvious for most of you, but I blundered OTB.
It happened in a long match where I had big match lead so I've made an anchor.
I thought: I don't want to strip the midpoint and I want to move that third checker from 24pt, and anchoring on 21pt can't be wrong.
I bet that even Paul Weaver (the player with most blunders, according to posts here) can't make 0,200 blunder on 6th move.

Variant 1 is obvious - even to me (no third checker on 24pt, hitting doesn't strip the midpoint), but I've posted it trying to make some QF for Variant 2.

Variant 2 is what surprised me the most!In the original position I was afraid to strip the midpoint, but it is still correct to hit even if you abandon your midpoint by doing that!!
I'm not sure I understand this.
