I'm not sure whether I ever actually said that an all in donk can't win >=25% against one of the best pros, I don't think I did, and even if I did that wasn't my main point.

My first point: The situation will never arise.

I think that's what most ppl overlooked. Aside from this one tournament a year (that I specifically asked in said thread not to be talked about) there are really no HU NLH tourneys, and even if there are, you have to go through multiple rounds of playing ppl so this strategy will get you nowhere. The way the thread progressed is all in donk finds himself at the final table with Ivey or something similar, well how the fuck did all in donk get through the rest of the tournament? It's just a situation that isn't going to happen...

Secondly Shannon Elizabeth isn't a push monkey. She knows far more about poker from what I saw in those clips than any push monkey ever would. Taking the same amount of time on all decisions, trying to figure out what the other person might have, getting personal lessons from every poker pro under the sun because they have the faint hope of sleeping with her. Nowhere near what is needed for this example.

The purpose of the thread was me bashing an article on gammonlife where the author of the article was doing the old apples to pumpkins comparison of poker v. bg. and the inherent skill levels. As I took it (and still take it) is that he thinks no hand is much worse off AI preflop than 25% which is a fallacy. The other points he made I won't rehash but it was a weak article, so weak I'm not even going to link it lol.
