Question for Stick

If that isn't some kind of inference I don't know what is...
The only inference being made seems to be by you. But it's not correct. Frank concluded that the neophyte would win the heads' up session about 25% of the time. No where does Frank write that this conclusion is based on the chance of one random hand winning one hand. The only time he even mentions the chance a random hand winning is when talks specifically about TT vs 2 random cards, and says TT wins about 75%.
How do get you get from those two mentions of 3:1 odds to saying that Frank must think that a random hand's chance against any other hand is at worst 25%?
I would need more info, such as the blinds, antes, stack sizes, how often the blinds were going up, etc...
Bob: Suppose each has 1 mil bankroll with blinds as 5000/10000.
Ok? Assume, I don't know, that they never go up. Or, to complicate things, that they double every hour.
what if the pro, being first to act, moves all in, what was the :cough: "raw beginner" taught to do now?
Is "raw beginner" in Frank's article? Never mind, it doesn't really matter. At most, two is the number of decisions that the neophyte with a pushmonkey strategy has to make: (a) what % of hands does he move all in with? (b) what percentage of hands does he call with if the pro moves all in? So the only poker knowledge the pushmonkey needs is to have memorized the hand ranking, and picked two numbers.
