Pick and pass (18/14*/11) leaves 17 return shots, and most likely a double/pass when hit. That's a high risk. The alternative that I see is two down from the mid point, that leaves 7 shots. Hitting would even the race if it works, and probably make us favourites. Playing two down we aim for a priming/attacking game, with a holding game as plan B. In conclusion I think that hitting is too risky, and that the anchor on the 18 can be the asset that allows us to take cubes if things go more in XG's way.
