Honest!

Hitting and breaking homeboard looks to me like putting all eggs in one basket.

This. And the payoff doesn't seem worth the risk. If Blue plays 7/4, he's something of a dog although the 5 point board remains strong. If Blue hits and plays 6/4, White fans 16/36 -- how strong is Blue now? Stronger but still a long way to go. 5/36 numbers merely enter -- I think Blue is worse off for the exchange. And 15/36 numbers enter and hit -- very bad sequences for Blue, losing his prime and getting a second sent back.
