I'd play 10/7 10/4 OTB, but defense against backgames is one of my weak points. And a QF. So I assume 10/4 8/5 is correct, breaking early before White's 4 point is made. Also somewhat logical to volunteer while you have a better board (or equal board) with a lot of returns after a hit, and white remaining primed after a hit.
