Seems to me the priority here is to contain the runner. That means extending the prime and being ready co whack the runner if he leaps.
21/14 doesn't accomplish any prime building, but it leaves a double or triple shot should we have an escapee on the loose. 13/10 11/7 or 13/9 11/8 bring builders into range at the expense of leaving 2 or 4 fly shots and perhaps less coverage for a non-hitting leap. I think I like the prime extending idea, and what better way to do it than to slot the back with 13/10 11/7?
Well, there's 14/7, but that seems a bit loose here. Maybe it's right since it dupes aces and deuces: 11 22 12 16 and 52 hit - that's 8 shots instead of 4. A gammon is worth a lot here, so why not ba aggressive? We're behind in the race, have a much better board and a very good anchor. PM says "bold"
