XG 3-ply [S R7] 15k
42P-63 [S R1] '<46Are these two XG1 rollouts independent of each other (or do they share a common seed)?
I'm pretty sure they're independent. The one you list second I transcribed on 2/13/10 with a note "Stick, v1.10?" but no reference to source or file. The first was sent to me by David six months later on 8/12/10, seed #87208204, v1.20. Stick and/or David may know more.

s[R S22] 5kNack accidentally omits the bot used in these at-score rollouts. Any clarification is appreciated. ...For these early posts, often the answer is GnuBg.
Your speculation is correct: They were rolled out (or assigned to other rollateers) by Stick with GnuBG.
Nack fell into the trap of reporting XGs absolute equites in his nacbrac for Neils 4-ply rollout. Nack erroneously reports 42P-63 [S R1] '<46. You can bet that is an error he would not make today. [Nack, have you already corrected your summary sheet?]
The lesson here is to always use the difference reported by XG when forming a nacbrac. Do not subtract the absolute equities. Subtracting these rounded values is less accurate than accepting the subtraction that XG made using unrounded values.
I'm not which post to which you refer, but if I reported 42P-63 [S R1] '<46 (note the 3-ply symbol), it seems likely that I was looking at or referring to (erroneously or not) David's rollout rather than Neil's. In any case, I agree with the difference concept as you've outlined it. (I've made reference to the concept myself in other posts.)
