So he gotta 5pt board. Let's try not to get hit. Five is forced, and then either 16/14 or shuffle checkers inside home board. If you shuffle, then fours, twos and sevens hit. Fours and twos is 20 numbers, plus 11, 31 and 61. total is 25 numbers. If you step up to 14 point then good old duplication of twos works. Twos and fives hit: 20 numbers plus 11 and 41. 23 numbers. There is additional benefit from stepping forward--if you missed you much closer to home, now sixes clear back checker. 16/11 16/14 for me.
