1) At 7a 3a a recube to 4 has the advantage of neutralizing gammon losses while greatly improving gammon wins. I calculate the raw takepoint as 30%, but the gammons make the practical takepoint a bit higher. 35%?? Not sure how to estimate this.

Given the elevated takepoint, Blue should be much quicker to cube. I'm pretty sure White has 35% GWC with the three point board, so it looks like a take. The cube seems to be close, but I'd hold here. ND/T

2) Blue has significantly improved here. Clearly good enough to double, and I'm fairly sure white should pass AtS. Is it too good? Maybe, but I'd cash. The 4-2 followed by 4-3 seems to have lost blue his market. RD/P.
