A few questions for Mark and Rick

Those figures are very much in line with the model I made 30 years ago which I called the Discontinuous Model. Rather than always cashing at 80% per Continuous I assumed enough market overshoot to always cash at 85%.
This resulted in DP of 69.1% and RP of 72.5% so extrapolating from your figures I had just assumed just over 70.5% cube efficiency (a term unknown to me then) from gut feel and some 100 pip+ one checker race computer simulations.
Since basically no one had a clue when to cube/recube back then, this proved useful to me.
I attempted to add G's to my equations, but it proved to be more math than I wanted to handle. I also tried to modify for match scores to improve my MET but just ended up doing that by gut feel as well.
Unless I missread and earlier paper by Mark, his model then indicated earlier DP and RP, and my experiences and vast use of bots are much more in line with your DP, RP for non gammonish games.
Perhaps I missread Mark's earlier work. .. neilkaz ..
