Good problem, tough choice. With five checkers on my midpoint, I would play S (Split-and down, 13/7) as the least of evils, but here I'd be choosing between U (Up, bar/22 24/18) and R (Run, bar/16).

I guess I'll go with U, but it wouldn't surprise me if R or even S is slightly better.
