If we had one more checker in the outfield—say our spare on the 21pt were already on our midpoint—I'd feel comfortable that we had enough ammo to shift points and have an excellent chance of remaking our 4pt. Here I'm not as sure. Still, my instinct is to play bar/23 4/3*(2). Seems more gammonish, anyway, which is what we're usually looking for at 4a4a.
