Is the word nacbracs a plural? Is there a singular form, to wit, nacbrac?
The word "nacbracs" is short for "Nactation brackets." Nacbracs is singular and plural; one nacbracs, two nacbracs...
In punctuation, you might put a sentence in brackets. When referring to one of the two bracket symbols in isolation, you call it a bracket. So, I suppose the same should go for nacbracs. Between the left nacbrac and right nacbrac, the plays and error sizes reside.
That said, I don't have a problem with calling one of the rows in a series of nacbracs a "nacbrac." That appellation, while seemingly improper, could create a useful distinction.
