Who is Sabri BÜYÜKSOY (Turkey), European Pro Champion 2012 ?

It was my pleasure to meet Sabri last year in Portugal. I saw him again in Monte Carlo and Cyprus.

Sabri is from Turkey, but he attended the University of Florida. While a student at UF, he met another UF student from Turkey, and she became his wife. After graduating, they moved back to Turkey and now they have a daughter who is about twelve or thirteen.

Sabri is a serious student of backgammon. He uses XG and he is improving rapidly. I took photographs of positions from our match, and he was very interested in going over them with me and XG.

Congratulations to Sabri, the 2012 European Pro Champion!
