Does the punishment fit the crime? TheVoid likely entered multiple accounts though all playing from different ips the information still leaked enough to get caught it seems. One friend of mine who plays poker that I've already discussed this with thinks the punishment was too severe for entering multiple ids. He wondered how much of an advantage that really gave a person, so what do you think? He suggested stripping him of half the prize noting that this would be enough of a deterrent for him to never do it again (cause his equity would fall so much if he knew he would only get paid a fraction of what he should).

I hadn't heard the AP story yet and I read about all I can and looked at the hand histories, absolutely sick. Obvious they have in some way been compromised. I'm not sure how they can rectify the situation, esp. if they find out it has been going on for a while and at cash games, they could (should) lose tons of money...
