The Hendon Mob Poker Database (http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/) has stats on results of thousands of live tournament poker players. One of the lists is "Most Popular Players" based on hits to the database in the last 7 days. It might be called "Players the Masses are Most Curious About Lately."

The top 10 today is populated mostly by players that everybody's heard of -- Hansen, Negreanu, Hellmuth, Gold, Ivey, Yang.

But the top three today are:

1. Mark Teltscher (whose sister won no money in the PokerStars tourney)

2. Scott Tom (former Absolute Poker co-owner)

3. Rick Salomon (who recently married Pamela Anderson but is, as the Mob puts it, perhaps "best known for his 'performance' in the 2004 classic, One Night In Paris")
