It looks like I misjudged the importance of preventing White from getting a third anchor in the last position. White's not threatening to make a third anchor right away here, but I think that if White pops a back checker into the outfield, then we want to send it back by hitting it, to try to force White to crunch. So 8/2* is a strong candidate for the 6, prophylactically preventing White from anchoring on our 2pt in the future. Then 17/15 aiming at the back of our prime looks natural.
Alternatively, we could try something like 22/16 17/15 or 22/14, aiming for outfield control. But this gives White quite a few indirect shots, and since White still has a three-point board and Blue has all those blots, White could turn the game around rather abruptly with a good exchange. 17/11 13/11 cleans up two blots but again I think we want to cover the outfield so that White can't improve her timing by escaping a few checkers cleanly.
So, 17/15 8/2*. Intuitively, hitting seems like the more gammonish play too, which is important ATS. However, I'd also play 17/15 8/2* at DMP.
