1. I don't know, but my gut says redouble/pass. It's gonna be very hard to bring that guy home, and you will cough up another blot often, I think (btw I'm not taking any fish factor into consideration in this decision).

2. I would have made your play too. You are very likely to get some checkers to shoot at and help bring them home or you could just roll a double. Hitting and hoping to roll a six immidiately and get home that way looks tougher.
