Doubling problem

I guess I'm also trying to turn this into a reference position (which is why I didn't bother with a diagram) and want to make sure my reasoning was correct OTB. I guess the big thing is should gammon chances be figured in? And then at what point should I drop (i.e., at percentage of chance of winning). Using the reasoning in my original post if my chances of winning that game were less than 25% should I have dropped?

And yes, one of us probably should have turned the cube earlier. We both escaped our back checkers early on and it became a race quickly and we just kind of went into autopilot, rolling and moving. Oh, and the beer.
