In this particular situation if I was at 33% to win then I should have dropped. Since I consider myself a little better then it was a borderline take.
No, I would say that not considering skill differences 33% was well above the 31.85% you needed to take, and considering that you thought yourself "a little better" you ought to have taken, anyway. I think of 1.15% as "a lot" at DMP, and I think that for most players the margin of error in estimating skill differences and how that should alter cube decisions from perfect-play generated match equities is quite large and likely to lead to major mistakes.
