Oops, yes, it was a take at even skill levels.
...and I think that for most players the margin of error in estimating skill differences and how that should alter cube decisions from perfect-play generated match equities is quite large and likely to lead to major mistakes.
Do you think players tend to overestimate the affect of differing skill levels or underestimate? Or are just off no matter what? I think that when I play this particular person if I do think something is borderline, I am more inclined to think that our skill difference favors the riskier play and I think that I can and do easily get into trouble this way so now I actually try to ignore my personal opinion on our skill level (we are very close but in positions that we deem close that I check afterwards I'm almost always correct). It's probably an interesting psychological phenomena.
