DMP, technical decision

I know this isn't particularly useful but this decision was a next for me. I waited to post to see how others would reply and already two people have went opposite what I would have played for a reason that is so minute I wouldn't bring it up. They want to get the man closer so they get him to safety more often. There are two men on the bar, I'm not worried about those scenarios because my opponent will still likely have one or two men on the bar. You need to make the safest play for the bear off.

Even if he had only one man on the bar I'd make the same play, it's just the natural play, though maybe I wouldn't next it.
