1. The choice is between the safe 20/14 and the aggressive 24/18. After 24/18, White's 53 33 32 31 hit, and since White owns the cube, that will often lead to a cash. On the other hand, Blue needs to escape his rear checkers sometime, and a good time to do so is when White is on the bar. After 20/14, Blue has pretty good outfield control in case White leaps out with 3x, and of course he leaves no shots. Tricky decision but it seems to me that 24/18 leaves White too many shots so I'll wimp out with 20/14.

2. I smell a blot-hitting contest so I think I need to make a four-point board with 7/2. After that 24/21 seems like the natural 3. Alternatives are 23/15 and 15/7. These could be correct but I still like locking up the four-point board.

3. The choice seems to be between 24/14* and 22/12*. I prefer the aggressive 24/14*. White could hit back but her 1's and 2's are duplicated and she has only a one-point board.
