Paul, I can assure you that the rumor is baseless. A bit of inside information: there were over 400 names nominated on the ballots, and you are among the elite; your name appears in the top 400. Naturally for someone so exalted special care must be taken. Accordingly, we have been consulting all known dictionaries of the English language, including some under lock and key at the Smithsonian Institution, the British Museum, and Nack's Scrabble Sanctum, to determine the consensus spelling - is it "Peever," or is it "Peaver?" (We found some other variations including "Pevere," Paul.) Once we have established to our own satisfaction how your name shall be evermore emblazoned on the scrolls of timeless time, there to be read until the light from the last star winks out, and only then, will we be ready to make our announcement.

It is of course difficult to say when that will be, but if you were to log into CJC's site, say, Thursday, who knows what you might find writ therein?
