Do you store XG1 and XG2 rollouts in the same folder? (I assume so.)
I do. If you want to distinguish XG1 from XG2 (whether or not you put them in separate folders), I recommend inserting -1- or -2- at the "end" (prior to .xgp) of the file name.
Should the second rollout of a given position be suffixed with Roman numeral II?
That's the (very) old method. Better is just to add a "2" after the initials. For example,
41S-62H-32-do.xgp
41S-62H-32-do2.xgpIf I extend the second file, it becomes 41S-62H-32-do2nb.xgp.
Does the version (XG1 or XG2) matter when it comes to assigning Roman numerals?
If you are distinguishing XG1 and XG2 versions (i.e., via -1- or -2-), you don't also need the other 2 (unless both files were done by the same version).
