Doubling problem

You're correct and good eye. The actual position was that my opponent had a checker on his 4pt and 2pt and I had a checker on my 3pt and 1pt giving him 23 rolls to win (plus if he misses and I roll a 21). But our conversation turned away from that specific position as we began discussing the significance of gammons for me in the Crawford game had I passed on this cube. To simplify our discussion we just put both my checkers on my ace point and stated for the sake of argument that he had a 66% chance of winning (there was a reason for that specific number but I forget now). There was no intent to deceive anyone, as I said what we were looking for was a type of reference position that would show us how to think about positions like this in the future. I rolled out the cube decision later on but wanted some help on how to analyze the position over the board.
