1. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't go for the kill with 7/1*. Getting hit back is no disaster, and closing the 1pt will improve both our winning chances and our gammon chances.

2. There's no way to leave zero shots, so I think we should be thinking about creating the best possible position for bearing in next time should White enter, and watching out for anti-jokers. 15/13 9/7(2) 8/6 gives White only 51 to hit and is embarrassing next turn only if Blue rolls snake eyes. That's what I'd play. It looks better to me than 15/7 or 15/9 8/6, which are awkward if Blue rolls 44, and also better than 15/11 9/7 8/6 which leaves 4 shots and 2 blots.

3. Blue is 25 pips behind in the race and really wants to hit a shot. The best chance, I think, is to harass White's outfield checkers. I'd try 23/18 23/17. White is forced to break the outfield point with 6's, and her 4's and 5's are duplicated to hit and to cover. And if White rolls small, Blue's slim racing chances are better if he moves his back checkers than if he moves up front.
