Scroll down for MCG-Falafel position at the end of this post.
Bill Davis has done well in tournaments of this format, winning in Wiconsin in 2007. Also in Pittsburgh 2011, he was undeated until the playoffs and finished in fifth place. Congratulations to Bill Davis!
Relatively young players Justin, Matt and Jeremy all cashed twice. Congratuations to Justin, Matt and Jeremy!
Congratulations to Rory for his success at running such a great tournament with so little experience. He has worked very hard in preparation.

Position from MCG-Falafel match. Matt got the right doubling / no doubling decision, but then he totally screwed up his 22 joker. Normally, I do not like to publicize the bad plays of others online, but I will make an exception here, for no good reason.
Matt is a great player, #5 on the List, and probably the only under 30 on the List. Eveyone who plays BG (except Hank Youngerman) screws up sometimes, and it was Matt's turn to screw up 22 here. It was great to hear Rynell's voice over the Internet at the start of the streaming of this match from 4,000 miles away, as I watched from Ireland. Made me feel right at home and sorry I could not be there.
