One thing I'm not in agreement with but possibly not knowing how to express it is that you said:

After 1296 trials, the equity for 24/22 24/21 was -0.0177. After 5184 trials, the equity was -0.0455. The difference of the results was 0.0278.

Yes, it's true that after 1296 trials the equity of the 'up' play was -.0177, it's also true that after 5184 trials the equity is now -.0455, the difference would have had to been more than .0278 in the rollouts though wouldn't it? It would have to been enough to swing the original 1296 game trial to its current equity, -.0455. Understand what I'm trying to say? The rollout was an extension of the original if that makes a difference...
