13/12* means weakening our position in exchange for a hit, but with four checkers back already, and no board for us, the hit will hardly hurt XG at all. 24/18 is just begging for XG to hit. Making the five might be right, but I still think it's too loose. I'll just play 9/3, keeping the number of blots down, and hoping to be missed and make the three next turn.
