The choice is between 18/11 and 16/10 11/10. I like making the 10 because it leaves a good 6 for our next turn, whereas after 18/11, 6s are bad. Another argument is that if we play 18/11 and are hit, the back checker is isolated and the threat to extend the prime is much more real than if we are hit after making the 10.
