In Response To: Absolute Poker Admits ... (Daniel Murphy)

My last post here on this topic. www.pokernews, www.pokerpages, www.pocketfives, www.cardplayer, the 2+2 forum and mainstream media have it covered now.

Latest statement from Absolute:

http://www.pokernews.com/news/2007/10/absolute-kahnawake-norton-issues-statement.htm

Former (for 20 years) Grand Chief Joe "Tokwiro" Norton of the Kahnewake Mohawk Tribe south of Montreal says he is the "sole owner" of Absolute Poker. That's one rich Grand Chief!

Absolute Poker is "regulated" by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which is "comprised of three members appointed by the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake. This is the same Commisssion that "regulates" Bodog, PokerStars and 500 or so other online poker rooms and casinos.

Is this how legalized Indian gaming was intended to be?
