I will start with Part B: 10*

Part A: *The * is because I'm not 100% clear what you mean here by "support". I certainly don't expect TDs to provide financial support for other directors' events, but I hope most directors will continue to leave piles of brochures for upcoming events on their front tables during their own tourneys. Directors already confer at least some of the time to discuss rulings, problems that occurred etc. and I'm sure such communication will continue to be valuable, helping all concerned to avoid repeating the same problems. I guess my response here is, "If 'support' will cost the TD money, I don't expect it of them because they make little enough return as it is; but if it's win-win, why not?"
