1. And yet USCF rates 80,000 members, most of whom seldom if ever play in the same tournaments. Is a lack of mixing an insurmountable problem?

2. Tim is right, of course, Elo is not an acronym. Unless one means the Electric Light Orchestra, or Epitaxial Lateral Overgrowth, or Extra Large Orifice, and so on.
