Ok I understand what you are suggesting now. Calling it a per event average is misleading I think.

If someone played 20 events 5 years ago and scored an excellent 80 points but then did not play since they get the same ranking as someone who just started pkaying in current year and got 80 points in 20 events. But if I understood some of your other comments correctly you would prefer that the player who performed that well recently would be higher?
