Double 4 again. Race will be close after this roll and Stick has practically no timing left and will probably release one of the anchors next roll. Retaining some contact might be better than bringing them home as safe as possible. But playing 13/5(2) seems to be wrong. Sure Stick is likely to leave some kind of shot after his roll, but if he can successfully release the anchor on our 7-point (without getting hit), our back checkers are suddenly in a lot of heat. Playing 18/14(2) is hence called for, even if this makes it easier for Stick to clear his midpoint. The last two I'll play 13/9(2) instead of 14/10(2). It would be nicer to have several points in front of Stick's anchor on our 7, but after 14/10(2) Stick is more likely to safely clear his mid, and then we'd have to break one of the outfield points anyway. More than half of the rolls contain a 1 or 2, which means the mid can't be cleared safely with our anchor on 14. Moreover, we can hold our position for one more roll if needed, with two spares on the 9.
