2008 Giants list voting

I have always found the list interesting but never really understood it.

I'm pretty sure that if the voting was limited to players who had a valid opinion that it still wouldn't be right.

The luck factor and how active a player is certainly affects his role. Bobby Fisher as a backgammon player would likely be unknown.

So I will most certainly read the list with some interest but like most outside of the tour can't really make any sense of it.
