Good analysis although I expect the racing chances to be slight better than your estimates since both sides have considerably checkers on the low pts, causing this to approach a turn based race. I suspect the clearing play is at least 80%, but I still would pick and pass. My opp if he reenters with a 2, may be forced to leave and if he stays, he will often break his board.
