Dmitriy Vs. Stick

I thought you had already posted this. Perhaps you only emailed it to me. I was in the process of including a story from this match in the middle of a post but I might as well put it here. As always, btw, everyone feel free to post/record all my matches.
Going into this match I wanted to play well and what happens happens. I think, though am not sure, it was my 5th ABT finals. I remember two of them very clearly having outplayed my opponents by a mile or so. I figure if I play as I'm capable it will eventually happen. I thought I played well, I won, I was eager to hear the results.
Dmitriy and I were talking on Gridgammon and he tells me that I played a "4 something". I believe my response was "Oh..." Never have I been so disappointed. I know loads of players would be content or even happy with having played a 4 something in the finals but I really hoped and thought I had played better. I couldn't wait to get a hold of the match to see what I donked up.
He sent it to me and I only found one black spot. A 53 in game #6 move 13. This is a .160 blunder all because of an oversight. I didn't see the play. It has to count into my PR of course, but it's one of those things that means nothing to me other than "You're a donkey, slow down, how did you not see that!?" It may also be a good example of something I wouldn't overlook online. I would like to deny it but since I spend about 75% of my anal life looking at XG or GNU or SW I imagine I see things more clearly than in front of a board. (though never would I use that as an excuse) So omitting that wonder blunder brings me down to a 3.4. A 3.4 I could live with a lot better than a "4 something" but still nothing to be excited about.
The end of game #2 is especially brutal. How do I not hit there and why do I cash? These are problems I would expect to 'next'.
My drop in game #5 I am still ok with. Depending on what the PR difference is between us makes it either right or wrong.
I was happy with my cube in game #6 at the time. It looked very threatening and I thought he might pass. I have a big pip lead, attacking chances, and his board is a bit cheesey. He correctly took though and on top of that it ended up being a ND.
Move 13 in game #7 was your typical chicken shit human play. I have a big lead in the match and am scared to death of losing a gammon on a turned cube and bringing the match close. I see 4 blots and direct shots and whimped out. Leaving it slotted has to be the dmp play by far and also clearly wins more gammons. True, the other play loses some more gammons but if I would have broken it down rationally I should have come to the right conclusion.
The NRD at the end of game #7 is only a small error, ~.015. Kit taught me long ago to consider that even if the position is technically a double/take or even a double/pass consider how unhappy you are when they take and rewhip for the match. The last thing I wanted here was to recube and be taken so I held.
