He sent it to me and I only found one black spot. A 53 in game #6 move 13. This is a .160 blunder all because of an oversight. I didn't see the play. It has to count into my PR of course, but it's one of those things that means nothing to me...

It sure does have to count into your PR because IMO not making oversights is part of the skill in backgammon

My other problem with the "oversight" excuse is this:

It's easy to have selective memory syndrome in that it's quite possible you did in fact consider all the plays and wasn't until afterwards when it transpires it was a huge blunder, to the dismiss it as an oversight.

It's probably easier to get away with this excuse if you're a giant.

I'm not in any way insinuating you're being economical with the truth and anyway I don't think it was actually you playing in this match but some imposter called Stick Rice a name by which you don't go by ;-)
