Hmmm...

Ahead in the race and with fewer men back and a weaker board, Magriel says "safe". OTOH, it's DMP, time to hit first and ask questions later.

The safe play is anchoring up and making the ten unstacking the midpoint in the process. Bold would be hitting from the bar or anchoring and slotting the 5, although if blue anchors first, that tips the balance in the direction of bold.

I'm going to anchor and slot here. with 3 blots hanging around white will have trouble hitting and covering.
