Yes i thought i might have been too good in a way. In the intermediate section you never know. i couldn't decide if my opponent would actually take even if it was a take. Otb i made a SWAG (Scientific wild ass guess) that i win +30% gammons. I thought getting gammoned would scare him too much to take. If i was strongly convinced from his previous cube decisions that he would drop (i was on the fence and doubled anyway ) i would have played on to try to get to Crawford with g or win the match with a unlikely bg. If that's right or wrong I'm not sure. Maybe i should still double knowing 100% he will drop . I had my mind set on getting 2pts minimum from this position no matter how i acquired them. I would have been slightly disappointed if he dropped. I know a point is a point though.
