This looks like pay me now or pay later position so I ask myself three standard questions:

1) If we not pay now does white's position improve?

Yes. He can improve his board.

2) If we don't pay now does our position become worse?

No. We can play 9/1 which is not bad.

3) If we pay now are we home free if missed?

We are in good shape but we have to roll 5-x or something bigger than seven.

Not clear. Small yes.

I think that we have to run now when white has two blots in his board which will give us double hit from the bar if he hit us. Also putting checker on acept is not good for race.

Pay now. 14/6 for me.
