Not up in the race holding the 14 point is thematic, making it more difficult for Stick to run the back men forcing him to burn pips bearing in. But 9/1 is quite ugly, that makes us burn pips too, and does nothing to improve our builder structure, something that may our next sixes awkward too, and leaves us less likely to eventually cover the four point.

I tend to think that 9/1 hurts us more than it hurts Stick, and play 14/6, noting that the 7's that hit are not really comfortable hitting numbers.
