Pointing on him seems pretty clear to me. I guess the other play is to make the four and play 15/12. If we make the bigger play we end up with a five point board often and with how unsure I am of the proper cube action I love having the opportunity to have my opponent take or pass incorrectly. (The double seems clearly correct) By pointing we give our opponent around 7 more great numbers now, but the only thing I see happening when we just make the four is hitting and leaving 13 great numbers next time if they do not escape and getting 0-25 hitting numbers if they do.
