It's DMP. Hitting gives White 9 dancing rolls, and 31 is a bad roll for White too. 66 62 52 21 hit but give Blue a return shot.

If Blue doesn't hit, then his racing chances are poor since White has a 17-pip lead with the roll (admittedly, White has more wastage). However, he may be able to hit White later since White has two blots to clean up. Still, Blue has to get a shot and then has to hit it, and then has to win from there. Hitting gives Blue a strong advantage after White's 11 weak replies.

Tough call but I'd try the hit here. Then 8/2 seems to be the 6, maximizing builders to remake the 5pt and 6pt.
