For money, this would have to be a cube, and probably a pass, because you are threatening to clear the point three away from the contiguous double anchor, and he can't hold his board much longer to "await developments".

At this tricky score, I would hold off. If I roll a big set and blow past him, I'll try playing on for a gammon for a while, but if instead the game just drags along to a place where I'm incrementally better (he ran a checker or damaged his board) I would then double and see what he thinks.
