To read Kit and Jeremy's review: Annotation
Also interesting to see how drunk TD Gammon was sometimes...
Breakdown: Up 11 pips, down in board strength, back checkers 1/2 extricated, seems all signs point to sissyville. Let Jeremy anchor up, then you play behind him til you can disengage.
The score (after 1 game) is: Jeremy 0, Kit 2 (match to 9 points)
Jeremy 156
Kit 150 Position ID: sPPgASHg8+DBAA Match ID: cAktAQAAEAAA
• Kit moves 13/11 8/5*
# Ply Move Equity 1 4 13/8 +0.0541 0.5320 0.0915 0.0020 - 0.4680 0.0924 0.0017 • 2 4 13/11 8/5* -0.0592 ( -0.1133) 0.5038 0.1179 0.0028 - 0.4962 0.1279 0.0034
Breakdown: You're not playing a backgame here, nor do you want to. Coming off the 18 keeps all quadrants of the board under your watch while giving you plenty of numbers next time to make either an offensive inner board or outer board point.
The score (after 1 game) is: Jeremy 0, Kit 2 (match to 9 points)
Jeremy 148
Kit 178 Position ID: sOfgA0CwcyQYIw Match ID: cAk2AQAAEAAA
• Kit moves 13/4
# Ply Move Equity 1 4 18/14 18/13 -0.2528 0.4472 0.1131 0.0024 - 0.5528 0.1383 0.0055 • 2 4 13/4 -0.3258 ( -0.0730) 0.4310 0.1139 0.0025 - 0.5690 0.1543 0.0059
Breakdown: The back man is an asset right now, he's needed to cover that part of the board so Jeremy can't play behind you til he clears the points. Removing the back checker allows Bagai to bring the position home at his leisure.
The score (after 1 game) is: Jeremy 0, Kit 2 (match to 9 points)
